PARTS MITSUBISHI SPACE RUNNER
The first generation Mitsubishi Space Runner, called RVR in Asia, was launched in February 1991. It is a compact minibus designed for young drivers. Many of these cars have been sold, with a manual and automatic gearbox.
The Space Runner was based on the second generation Mitsubishi Space Wagon, but with a shortened chassis of the longer version. The body style is characterised by a single sliding door on the passenger side.
The second generation Space Runner was introduced in 1997. This generation also shared the platform with the Mitsubishi Space Wagon and many components are interchangeable. In this version we recognize the sliding door on the passenger side and the sliding and adjustable rear seats.
The third generation RVR is a compact crossover SUV, first marketed in Japan. The RVR name is only used in Japan and Canada. In Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, the Philippines, China, Malaysia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Taiwan, Russia and Australia, the car is sold under the name Mitsubishi ASX (abbreviation for "Active Sports Crossover") and under the name Mitsubishi. Outlander Sport in the United States and Indonesia. In Puerto Rico he is called both ASX and Outlander Sport.
At the IAA in Frankfurt in 2007, Mitsubishi presented a study model called cX Concept, een cross-over. a crossover. The production model was presented as Mitsubishi ASX at the Genève Motor Show in 2010. The design is very similar to that of the Outlander, although the car is lower and shorter.
The ASX is available with two engines, the 117hp strong 1.6 Cleartec petrol and the 116hp strong 1.8 DI-D Cleartec diesel. There are three levels of equipment, the Inform (only available with the petrol engine), the Intense and the Instyle. During its introduction, the ASX was also available as an Intro Edition (available with both petrol and diesel engines). The ASX comes standard with a Start-Stop system.
